Piling works in Salthill, Co Galway

This project involved the installation of Pile Casings in Salthill with a top hammer averaging 3.5 meters and a 500mm socket into solid rock/ A mixture of 114mm and 168mm casings using an auger for some casings where suitable. More images on the gallery page.

Work on ESB Substation, Carrickmines, Co Dublin

This project consisted of the removal of large concrete bases close to vibration sensitive electrical equipment at the Carrickmines Electrical Sub Station.

Dundrum Shopping Centre, Co Dublin

The Dundrum Shopping Centre project consisted of drilling of the bedrock right up to an old stone wall (with a 3 tonne Excavator) and breaking out to facilitate concrete bases for a new multi storey building.

Sewage sump at Ashford Castle, Cong, Co Mayo

Creation of a deep sewage sump within one meter of the building. The work consisteted of the excavation of over 27m3 of rock at the base of the existing main Castle walls.

We had to take into consideration the sensitivities associated with working in close proximity to the Hotel, (an important historical structure) and the guests. Work restrictions were imposed at certain times and were strictly adhered to. The project was completed ahead of schedule and in a very efficient & professional manner.

Salthill to Screebe ESB 110KV line

We worked as part of a team on the construction of a new 110KV line running overground from Salthill ESB station to Screebe. The work consisted of preparing the ground for pylons and pole sets as well as breaking out of rock for service roads.

Mayo County Council - Achill Sewage Scheme

The project involved working under Coffey Developments on breaking out rock along the length of the new sewage scheme in Achill, Co Mayo. We also undertook a similar project in Carraroe and Coffey Developments were once again the main contractor.

Galway Council - Laying of new water mains for Lettermullen GWS

This project consisted of breaking out rock at various stages along a 15km length to allow for the laying of a new watermain for Lettermullen GWS with Galway County Council as the main contractor.

Eircom ducting at Lettermore, Co Galway

We undertook various ducting projects under Eircom / Clarke in Lettermore, Co Galway which involved the burying of services at various stages along the Eircom main line.
